Formfour was successful in winning the tender to construct the running strips for the Lyttleton Port Company's Container Terminal rail expansion. This was a particularly complex project due to working around live rail and port operations. This included needing to ensure rail operations remained uninterrupted.
Following the 2011 earthquake, we were contracted to complete temporary seawall repairs to Cashin Quay 3. This work was particularly challenging due to tidal and environmental constraints. We were involved from an early design stage to enable the work to be completed with minimal disruption to shipping and container operations.
We were again engaged at an early stage to design, construct and supply moulds for precast wall units. These units were then installed within the coal yard, which presented another challenging environment, requiring us to coordinate with the coal yard operations.
